PARIS, June 17 (Reuters) – U.S. President Donald Trump stated on Wednesday that the United States will address Iran’s ballistic missiles and terrorist proxy operations with Gulf partner nations during discussions taking place alongside the G7 meeting in France.
At a press briefing, Trump noted that Syria’s leader has expressed interest in conducting “precise” operations against Hezbollah, the Iranian-backed militant group, within Lebanon.
Trump also indicated that the Lebanese president is expected to travel to Washington in the upcoming weeks.
