DUBLIN — During a meeting with Irish Prime Minister Micheál Martin on Saturday, President Donald Trump stated that he would “love to see” Irish reunification, commenting on one of the most politically sensitive issues affecting both Ireland and the United Kingdom.
Trump made these remarks during his meeting with the Irish leader, which took place on the sidelines of his trip to attend the Irish Open golf tournament at his resort, Trump International Golf Links.
