President Donald Trump is anticipated to attend a White House meeting with the administration’s new innovation committee, which includes crypto CEOs and leaders from prediction‑market and AI firms, according to individuals familiar with the arrangement.
Leading executives from firms such as Coinbase, Ripple, Gemini, Robinhood, Polymarket and Kalshi serve on the newly created Innovation Advisory Committee of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. Prior to their inaugural committee session on Thursday, these crypto CEOs will convene at the White House meeting, sources said, and have been informed that President Trump intends to be present.
The session is slated to take place at the Eisenhower Executive Office Building, located adjacent to the White House, with the aim of initiating policy discussions on key U.S. innovation fronts. Attendees are expected to include CFTC Chairman Mike Selig and other advisors, with Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick also potentially joining.
White House spokespeople did not promptly respond to inquiries regarding the plans.
