Turnstile Removes Yves Tumor from Tour After Sexual Assault Allegations

Yves Tumor will not be performing on Turnstile’s upcoming tour due to sexual assault allegations.

In early September, allegations surfaced against musician Sean Lee Bowie (Yves Tumor) after images of an injured woman were posted on his subreddit, accompanied by a claim that he had “sexually assaulted someone close to me last week.”

The post intensified scrutiny, leading artist Angel Money to accuse him on X of groping her during a filmed encounter.

Similarly, Kidä, vocalist on the Yves Tumor track “Lovely Sewer” from his album Praise a Lord Who Chews but Which Does Not Consume and a former member of his touring band, posted on X describing her collaboration with him as “one of the most disrespectful professional experiences of my career.”

Tumor responded on Instagram, labeling the accusations as “100 percent untrue and completely heartbreaking,” and warned that he would pursue “extreme legal action,” before removing the post.

Consequently, Turnstile has replaced him on its ongoing tour, which was originally announced in June and will feature support slots for acts including Clipse, Ceremony, Thundercat, Slayyyter, Hatebreed, Vince Staples, and others.

He had been slated to play three dates: a September 12 show in Toronto with Saya Gray and Pluto’s Kiss, a September 26 performance in Portland, Maine with Fiddlehead, and a September 29 appearance in Raleigh with Angel Du$t and Agnostic Front.

No Warning, a Canadian hardcore punk group, substituted for the Toronto show, while Tampa-based death metal band Obituary was announced as a replacement for the Raleigh concert. Dinosaur Jr is also slated to appear at the Portland date.
