Two people were killed and a third was seriously injured on Sunday after a gunman opened fire on a hunting party in southern Norway, according to police.
The suspect was arrested at the scene and is not believed to be a member of the hunting party, police said in a statement. The injured victim was airlifted to a hospital for treatment.
The shooting took place near Halden, a town roughly 96 kilometers (60 miles) from Oslo and close to the Swedish border.
Further details were not immediately available as authorities continue their investigation.
