Today, the United States announced sanctions against Autistici/Inventati (“A/I Collective”) and several other entities linked to transnational far‑left terrorist networks.
The A/I Collective, based in Italy, provides the digital infrastructure that Antifa cells and other radical left‑wing groups in the United States, Europe, and elsewhere rely on. Its full suite of online services is designed to enable these groups to organize, recruit, communicate, and execute violent attacks while evading law enforcement. The tools are commonly used to disseminate target information, tactical manuals, techniques, and statements from left‑wing militants, including many of the most active and violent Antifa factions in the United States.
As highlighted during the July 16 Ministerial on the Resurgence of Political Terrorism, the State Department reaffirmed its commitment to countering the rise of far‑left political terrorism by identifying and disrupting the international networks that plan, facilitate, and carry out acts of violence.
Following today’s designations, all property and interests of the designated individuals and entities that fall under U.S. jurisdiction are blocked, and U.S. persons are generally prohibited from engaging in any transactions with them. Financial institutions and other parties that engage in certain transactions or activities involving the designated entities may expose themselves to sanctions, including prohibitions on providing funds, goods, or services to, for, or on behalf of those entities. Participation in such transactions may also trigger secondary sanctions on foreign financial institutions. Violations of U.S. sanctions can lead to civil or criminal penalties for both U.S. and foreign persons.
These actions are taken under Executive Order 13224, as amended, which targets terrorists, terrorist organizations, their leaders and officials, and anyone providing support to terrorists or terrorist acts. This designation forms part of a broader U.S. government initiative to confront the threat of transnational far‑left terrorism.
Violent far‑left terrorist networks, such as those targeted today, represent a danger to the United States and its international partners. There will be no safe haven for extremists who wage war against our civilization, seek to erode the rule of law, destroy critical infrastructure, attack political opponents, or conceal their crimes from authorities. The United States will employ every available tool and authority to combat terrorism and safeguard our way of life.
Autistici/Inventati is being designated pursuant to E.O. 13224, as amended, for having materially assisted, sponsored, or provided financial, material, or technological support, or goods and services, in support of an act of terrorism. Palestine Action is being designated pursuant to E.O. 13224, as amended, for having materially assisted, sponsored, or provided financial, material, or technological support, or goods and services, in support of an act of terrorism.
Masar Badil is being designated pursuant to E.O. 13224, as amended, for being owned, controlled, or directed by, or having acted or purported to act for or on behalf of, directly or indirectly, the Samidoun Palestinian Prisoner Solidarity Network. Rawa Alsagheer and Zaid Abdulnasser are being designated pursuant to E.O. 13224, as amended, for being leaders or officials of Masar Badil.
