TOKYO — A U.S. Marine has been arrested on suspicion of murder and robbery in Okinawa, prompting Tokyo to lodge an official protest with the United States.
Devin Jacob Ballard, 20, is accused of killing Anna Yagi, 39, in a hotel on Saturday, police told NHK. Ballard has denied the allegations, a spokesman said.
