U.S. Military Lifts Maritime Blockade on Iranian Ports Following Diplomatic Accord

On Thursday, U.S. forces lifted the maritime blockade on all traffic entering and exiting Iranian ports and coastal areas, CENTCOM said, shortly after the United States and Iran signed a deal to end the Mideast war, Anadolu Agency reports.

CENTCOM stated that U.S. forces lifted the maritime blockade on all traffic entering and exiting Iranian ports and coastal areas, as directed by President Donald Trump, in a statement shared on the social media platform X.

The statement confirmed that U.S. forces are not hindering vessel transit to or from Iranian ports in the Arabian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman.
