The UFC’s Mexican Independence Day weekend tradition returns once again. For the fourth consecutive year, the Octagon will host a special card honoring Mexican fighting heritage, and for the second straight year, this UFC Fight Night is paired with a major boxing event. Noche UFC 4 takes place at the Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona.
The main event showcases a highly anticipated featherweight clash between ranked contender Jean Silva and Jose Delgado.
Silva boasts an impressive 17-3 MMA record, including a 6-1 UFC tenure. His only UFC defeat came at last year’s Noche UFC event when he was stopped by Diego Lopes. He rebounded from that setback at UFC 324 by defeating Arnold Allen.
Delgado secures this premier opportunity by stepping in as a replacement for the originally scheduled Yair Rodriguez. With a 4-1 UFC record, his sole loss came against Nathaniel Wood. Delgado enters the octagon following a recent victory over Austin Bashi just a few months prior.
The co-main event features a pivotal flyweight matchup between former champion Brandon Moreno and Joseph Morales. Moreno has struggled recently, posting a 2-4 record since relinquishing the title to Alexandre Pantoja, and he arrives off a surprising loss to Lone’er Kavanagh at UFC Mexico City in February. Morales claimed the Ultimate Fighter season 33 title by submitting Alibi Idiris at UFC 319, followed by a November victory over Matt Schnell.
The remaining main card bouts include Tommy McMillen versus Marwan Rahiki, Manon Fiorot versus Alexa Grasso, Waldo Cortes-Acosta versus Curtis Blaydes, and David Martinez versus Dan Ige.
Jean Silva vs. Jose Delgado
Delgado should not be dismissed so quickly, particularly given the current trend of underdog success in the UFC. As an MMA Lab product, he has demonstrated a readiness to engage and exchange blows. Possessing a height and reach advantage, Delgado is likely to employ a strategic approach, maintaining distance and forcing Silva to work. However, it is difficult to bet against Silva. His extensive big-fight experience, superior resume, and demonstrated explosive danger are undeniable. If Delgado attempts to engage in a firefight, he will likely suffer the consequences. Silva will aim to pressure and overwhelm his opponent, potentially making it difficult for Delgado to secure a finish or survive the full 25 minutes against such intense pacing.

Both are elite strikers with finishing ability, but the critical factor here is McMillen’s substantial frame at 145 pounds. This size advantage will allow McMillen to land strikes from range and overwhelm opponents with volume, while also enabling him to integrate wrestling at any moment. Rahiki must leverage his aggression to close the distance and avoid turning this into a pure kickboxing match. By getting inside on McMillen and targeting the body, Rahiki can pull off the upset.

Belgaroui finally deserves the widespread respect he has long coveted. While early finishes may not be on his agenda in the UFC, a third-round finish is still a definitive result. Belgaroui’s kickboxing power remains intact. For a fighter like Santos, who enters this fight with a 1-2 UFC record, he will need to close the distance and engage in a physically demanding slugfest, despite the inherent risks. Belgaroui can afford to fight from a distance as the significantly larger fighter, which heavily tilts the odds in his favor.
