Ukraine’s top military commander, Oleksandr Syrskyi, is being replaced by General Mikhailo Dapraty after several days of public protests calling for his resignation. Syrskyi has been accused of pressuring Defence Minister Mikhailo Fedorov to step down because of his reluctance to implement reforms aimed at modernising the army.
