United States Implements New Tariffs Targeting Goods Linked to Forced Labor

Effective this Friday, the United States will implement new tariffs on imports from 60 trading partners, impacting approximately 99 percent of all goods entering the country. These measures succeed the temporary 10 percent global tariff that was established 150 days ago following the Supreme Court’s decision to strike down former President Donald Trump’s previous broad tariff strategy.
