Vancouver Goldeneyes fans can expect a bustling winter schedule, with six of the team’s 13 home games set for Saturday nights at the Pacific Coliseum during the upcoming PWHL season.
The Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) officially released its 2026-27 regular season schedule on Friday, confirming key dates for the league’s fourth campaign. The Goldeneyes will open their second season in the pro women’s hockey circuit on December 5th, hosting the Seattle Torch at the historic Pacific Coliseum. Their final home game is scheduled for April 17th against the Detroit franchise, one of four new teams joining the league this year.
In addition to the six Saturday matchups, the Goldeneyes’ home slate includes three games on Tuesdays, two on Wednesdays, and two on Thursdays. As part of the PWHL’s Takeover Tour initiative—designed to expand the sport’s reach and gauge interest in new markets—Vancouver will host two neutral-site games. The team faces the Minnesota Frost on January 23rd and the Las Vegas franchise on February 7th, with specific venues yet to be announced.
Full-season, half-season, and flex ticket packages are currently available through the team’s official website, while single-game tickets will go on sale starting October 9th. Each PWHL team continues to play a 30-game schedule, with Vancouver competing in the Western Conference alongside Detroit, Las Vegas, Minnesota, San Jose, and Seattle. The Eastern Conference features Hamilton, Montreal, Toronto, Boston, New York, and Ottawa.
This season also marks an expanded playoff format, with the top four teams from each conference qualifying for the postseason. The first round consists of best-of-three series, followed by best-of-five conference finals and a best-of-five championship series. Additionally, the first-place team in each conference will earn the right to select its first-round opponent, choosing between the third- or fourth-place team in their conference.
Broadcast details have also been confirmed, with CBC airing eight Goldeneyes games—including two on Hockey Night in Canada—and TSN, Sportsnet, and Amazon Prime each carrying multiple games. Fans unable to access national coverage can stream all out-of-market games via the PWHL’s YouTube channel or thepwhl.com.
