Vanessa Trump, former spouse of Donald Trump Jr., has announced she is now cancer-free after being diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year. The 48-year-old mother of five shared the news in a brief video posted to her daughter Kai’s Instagram account on Friday, stating that recent test results “came back clear, so I’m finally cancer-free.”

The video serves as a preview for an upcoming YouTube discussion between Vanessa and Kai Trump about breast cancer awareness and prevention, Kai noted in the post’s caption.

Vanessa Trump, who separated from Trump Jr. in 2018, revealed her breast cancer diagnosis in May, disclosing that she had undergone surgery and was developing a treatment plan with her medical team. Her daughter Kai highlighted the importance of breast cancer awareness, writing, “October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time to raise awareness about early detection, education, and support for those affected by breast cancer.”

In the video, Vanessa Trump discussed sitting down with Dr. Nicole Saphier to explore her journey with breast cancer and learn more about prevention and early detection strategies. Kai Trump’s Instagram post garnered significant support, receiving over 20,000 likes and hundreds of comments, including encouragement from American singer and media personality Mary Millben.

Breast cancer statistics from the American Cancer Society indicate that approximately 1 in 8 women in the U.S. will develop breast cancer during their lifetime. The disease represents 30% of all new female cancer cases annually. While surgery often cures breast cancer, additional treatments such as chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and endocrine therapy may be necessary if residual disease remains. Recent advances in treatment, including targeted therapies, new hormonal treatments, and improved radiotherapy techniques, continue to enhance patient outcomes.
