European Commission Vice-President Roxana Mînzatu said she expects Commission President Ursula von der Leyen to deliver an “inspirational message” that will “speak directly to each of the 450 million Europeans” during her annual address to citizens.
Mînzatu unveiled new proposals on Thursday designed to strengthen labour mobility across EU member states. Under the plan, the Vice-President said, citizens who travel within the EU would find that “your social rights, your skills and your qualifications can travel with you”.
