The Golden State Warriors have declined to match the three-year, $30 million offer sheet that restricted free agent Quinten Post signed with the Memphis Grizzlies, clearing the way for the center to join Memphis, team sources confirmed to The Athletic on Tuesday. The sources requested anonymity because the transaction has not been formally announced.
The 26-year-old, 7-foot center spent his first two NBA seasons with Golden State, starting 49 of the 109 games he appeared in. He posted averages of 7.8 points and 3.8 rebounds per game for the Warriors.
Post now enters a Memphis frontcourt that features the No. 3 overall pick and 2026 Wooden Award recipient Cameron Boozer, alongside former two-time Wooden Award winner Zach Edey, who stands 7-foot-3.
Meanwhile, Golden State has reshaped its own interior rotation, re-signing veterans Kristaps Porziņģis and Al Horford while adding 6-foot-9 forward Yaxel Lendeborg via the draft. Lendeborg is projected to round out the Warriors’ frontcourt depth alongside Draymond Green.
