Wembley Stadium has announced a modification to its beverage policy for tomorrow’s Harry Styles concert, citing an extreme heatwave across the UK.
The former One Direction member will continue his record-breaking ‘Together, Together’ residency at the venue tomorrow night (June 23), with Shania Twain scheduled to appear as a special guest.
Although the event will proceed as scheduled, Wembley has relaxed its usual water‑bottle restrictions in response to the forecasted high temperatures in London.
While metal bottles are typically prohibited inside the stadium, attendees will be permitted to bring metal or hard‑plastic water bottles to Tuesday’s show, where they can be refilled at complimentary stations.
Empty soft‑plastic bottles of up to 500 ml are also allowed, and bottled water sold at all bars will be reduced by 50 %. Free water refill stations and complimentary sunscreen will be provided at information points throughout the venue.
Fans are advised to stay hydrated, take regular breaks in shaded areas, apply sunscreen, wear loose and breathable clothing, and avoid arriving excessively early.
The warning comes as London experiences extreme temperatures this week, with mid‑30s highs forecast for Tuesday and a red Met Office heat warning in effect from Wednesday morning through Thursday night.
Doors open at 5 p.m., with Shania Twain scheduled to take the stage at 6:55 p.m.; Styles is expected to begin his set at 8:15 p.m., and the venue’s curfew is set for 10:30 p.m.
Styles’ Wembley residency launched on June 12 and will run through July 4, with remaining London dates on June 23, 26, 27, 29, and July 1, 3, and 4.
The 12‑night run marks the longest single‑artist residency in Wembley Stadium history, exceeding Coldplay’s 10‑night run in 2025 and Taylor Swift’s eight‑night solo record from 2024.
Styles opened the residency earlier this month with a tribute to the late David Hockney and reflections on his One Direction years.
He dedicated ‘Taste Back’ ‘to all the ravers in the house’, incorporating a snippet of Underworld’s ‘Born Slippy’ into the track; a brief excerpt of Talking Heads’ ‘This Must Be The Place’ was woven into ‘Treat People With Kindness’, and during ‘Dance No More’, his band played a groove from Happy Mondays’ ‘Step On’ while he sang a fragment of Gorillaz’s ‘Clint Eastwood’.
He recently performed a special orchestral show at London’s Southbank Centre as part of his Meltdown Festival, presenting reworked solo tracks, rarities, and covers with the Jules Buckley Orchestra and House Gospel Choir.
His fourth studio album ‘Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally’, released in March, earned four stars from NME, which noted: ‘Largely, Styles taking a new approach to things really works – ‘Kiss All The Time…’ feels like an album that you’ll really want to spend a lot of time with, letting all its layers envelope you.’
