WiCi One Wireless eGPU Leverages Wi-Fi 7 for Cable-Free Gaming and AI Performance

WiCi has introduced a wireless solution for users who wish to maintain their laptop’s slim profile while running graphically intensive games or demanding AI workloads. Dubbed the WiCi One, this external GPU eliminates cables, delivering high-end graphics performance over Wi-Fi 7 to any compatible device—a departure from traditional eGPU solutions that depend on Thunderbolt or OCuLink connections.

All components are housed within the WiCi One’s chassis, including a dedicated graphics card, a Wi-Fi 7 module, and an integrated cooling system. The base configuration features an Nvidia RTX 5060 Ti 16GB GPU, an Intel Core 3 100U processor, and 1TB of NVMe storage. A higher-tier model is also planned, equipped with an RTX 5090 32GB, an Intel Core Ultra 7 225H, and a 4TB NVMe 5 SSD. According to WiCi, the base model can run Cyberpunk 2077 at 4K Ultra with DLSS 4 at 80 frames per second, and Black Myth: Wukong at 4K Cinematic with DLSS 4 at 60 fps. Beyond gaming, the device is positioned as a platform for intensive AI workloads and local AI assistant deployment.

The base model is currently available for preorder at $1,999, with a planned retail price of $2,599. WiCi anticipates initial shipments in the fourth quarter of this year, while pricing for the RTX 5090-equipped variant will be revealed closer to its launch.
