Wrexham Manager Urges Team to Bounce Back After Honest Assessment

We recognize we are not performing at the level we desire, but we must dig deep to improve, Parkinson said.

As I mentioned after the match, the key is ensuring our performances reflect the standards we have built over recent seasons.

In the first half at Bramall Lane, I felt we fell short for reasons beyond my control.

However, I also stress that we have reached those levels in many games this season; we must examine why we fell short, identify what we need to recover, and see where that leads us.

Wrexham secured a 4‑1 victory over Preston North End in their latest home fixture, though they have yet to record consecutive wins at the Racecourse Ground this campaign.

The atmosphere at the Racecourse is tremendous for us, Parkinson remarked. We will rely heavily on our supporters for the upcoming match against Middlesbrough.

We are somewhat depleted, yet we have consistently displayed grit and determination over the years, and that is exactly what we aim to demonstrate.

We must fight with everything we have while maintaining a clear tactical understanding of the game. I want to see that spark, effort, and intensity in our performance.
