Kieffer Moore has headed the line in both of Wrexham’s recent Championship matches, while Sam Smith has been used from the bench.
Manager Williamson confirmed that the club is working to increase the firepower available to Parkinson.
“That’s the challenging one to find – the striker who is great with his feet, great with his head, great at hold‑up play, great at finishing, is 6ft5ins and wants to move to Wrexham.”
“That’s your £40 million striker right there, but we have two great strikers on the pitch right now.”
We are comfortable with those two forwards and believe we need additional quality to provide fresh solutions on the attack.
Wrexham will face Birmingham at home on Friday, 28 August (20:00 BST), before travelling to Millwall the following day once the transfer window closes.
