WWE President Nick Khan has provided key insights into the creative planning for WrestleMania 43, confirming that development is already underway.
As WWE’s flagship Premium Live Event, WrestleMania is typically orchestrated with meticulous planning well in advance, with creative strategies unfolding over the months leading to the show.
The company recently announced that WrestleMania 43 will be held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, marking a historic first for the event outside North America. This move has generated significant fan discussion, with some expressing concerns over accessibility while others anticipate a major production.
Khan Reveals Creative Progress and Additional Events
During an interview on The Varsity, Khan confirmed that Riyadh will host WrestleMania 43 and emphasized that creative plans are actively in motion, though they remain subject to adjustments based on injuries. He also outlined plans for WrestleMania weekend events in the United States, including watch-along parties at the MSG Theater featuring NXT or AAA.
“Yes. It’s never been outside of the US or Canada. It’s going to be in Riyadh. It’s going to be a significant show. We’re already across the creative, of course, that’s, you know, subject to any injury. We’re already across the creative.
And in addition to that, we announced two shows from the MSG Theater. WrestleMania Saturday, we’ll have a watch-along party followed by either NXT or AAA, and the next day, MSG Theater, a watch-along party followed by either NXT or AAA, whichever one didn’t go on the Saturday night.
So we’re also gonna do viewing parties and all of these things from the US and other countries. And we think, you know, ultimately the fans will go home happy.”
