Despite both athletes delivering strong performances, the match ended inconclusively following an unexpected intervention. Zilla Fatu made his entrance by attacking both competitors, effectively nullifying the result. After signing his NXT contract the subsequent week, General Manager Robert Stone opted not to penalize Fatu, instead granting him a Fatal 4-Way title match alongside Tony D’Angelo, Waller, and Montana at the upcoming Heatwave. Fatu is the son of WWE Hall of Famer Umaga, linking him to a prominent family that includes his cousins, the Usos, Solo Sikoa, and Jacob Fatu. Additionally, due to generational gaps, Roman Reigns is collectively regarded by the family as a cousin despite their first-cousin relationship. Reports from Wrestlevotes indicate that WWE intends to bypass prolonged development in NXT, viewing Fatu for a main roster integration alongside his relatives.
