Chelsea have reportedly entered the race to secure highly-rated Leicester City wonderkid Louis Page.

The 18-year-old has established an impressive reputation recently, attracting significant interest from several elite clubs.

Manchester United were previously strongly linked with Page by ESPN, but failed to finalize a transfer during the summer window.

According to journalist Ekrem Konur, Chelsea have joined the pursuit of Page, alongside Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester City.

It appears United no longer hold an exclusive path to Page, despite having been on the verge of securing him previously.

Whether United will still hold a strong position for Page, or if Chelsea’s entry into the pursuit alters the landscape significantly, remains to be seen.

Chelsea have a notable recent history of acquiring elite young talents and providing them with opportunities to develop, which sometimes includes loaning them to their BlueCo affiliate Strasbourg in Ligue 1.

However, United would also undoubtedly be an appealing option for Page, given their track record of promoting young talent, whether through their academy or strategic signings.

It is also possible that Page might consider a stepping stone like Borussia Dortmund, who have excelled recently at bringing in top young English players and providing them a platform to refine their skills for larger moves in the future.
