Yungblud to Perform Despite Leg Injury at European Festivals

Yungblud has sustained a leg injury in a motorbike accident but remains committed to his European festival appearances this week.

The musician, known by his stage name Dominic Harrison, shared images of himself using crutches with a bandaged leg on social media recently. He captioned the post, “Leg injured. Still performing. (Sort of),” while reiterating his plans to attend events in Portugal and Belgium.

According to Billboard, a representative for Yungblud confirmed the injury occurred during a minor motorbike incident at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in South Dakota last week. The artist performed a live set at the event on August 9, as noted by Setlist.FM. He has also participated in recent European shows, including the BludFest event in Czechia.

Yungblud is currently touring in support of his double album *Idols*, released earlier this year. At a recent concert in Montana, he involved audience members to reveal their baby’s gender on stage.

In a statement, Harrison emphasized his determination to address the injury seriously, stating, “I’m taking this extremely seriously and facing it head-on for the long term. I will never take any of this for granted and will see you all soon. I love you all.”

This year, Yungblud won a Grammy for Best Rock Performance for his live cover of “Changes” at Ozzy Osbourne’s farewell concert.

In a four-star review of both halves of *Idols*, NME noted: “It bookmarks the latest chapter in the story of Dominic Harrison with a fairytale ending, now living with the freedom of thought that once eluded him. Sonically, the double album might not redefine the future of rock, but—as the soundtrack to his most successful era yet—it has helped guarantee the future of Yungblud.”
