Omung Kumar’s ‘Silaa’, starring Harshvardhan Rane, is set for release early next year.

Zee Studios has scheduled the film for February 5, 2027. Featuring Rane alongside Sadia Khateeb, the story is billed as a blend of intense romance, gripping mystery, and high-octane action set against the backdrops of Kashmir and Vietnam.

Plot details remain largely under wraps, but the film centers on the intense relationship between Virat (Rane) and Silaa (Khateeb), which takes a tragic and violent turn. First look posters for the movie have been unveiled.

“Silaa has been one of the most challenging and exciting journeys of my career,” said Rane in a statement. “There is far more to Virat than meets the eye. He is a man driven by love, but when circumstances take an unexpected turn, he is pushed into a world where survival becomes just as important as finding the person he loves.”

Kumar directs the film and produces alongside Himanshu Tiwari, Ajay Singh, Dhananjay Singh, and Vanita Garud Kumar. Hemant Tiwari serves as co-producer.

“With Silaa, we wanted to create a film that takes audiences on a roller-coaster ride, where romance, action, mystery, and adventure come together in an unexpected way,” said Kumar.

“At its heart, the film is about love and the lengths a person will go to when everything they believe in is put to the test. We wanted the world of the film to feel expansive and visually striking, while ensuring that emotions always remain at the center of the story.”

Zee Studios produced the film alongside Blue Lotus Pictures and Stark Entertainment.
