San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Mike Evans caught five passes for 76 yards while playing through a rib injury. He missed two practices last week before returning for limited work on Friday, and Wednesday’s session was likewise restricted.
Players who did not participate in Wednesday’s practice included defensive end Nick Bosa (knee/calf), linebacker Dre Greenlaw (rest), fullback Kyle Juszczyk (knee), running back Christian McCaffrey (rest), safety Marques Sigle (ankle), cornerback Upton Stout (shoulder), defensive tackle James Thompson (ankle), and offensive tackle Trent Williams (rest).
Running back Kaelon Black (illness) and defensive end Mykel Williams (knee) were limited in practice.
Trent Williams continues his recovery from an ACL injury and is expected to be activated from the physically unable to perform list before Sunday’s matchup against the Seahawks.
