During Saturday Night Live’s Halloween special on October 31, Gracie Abrams delivered a two‑song tribute to Baz Luhrmann’s 1996 film Romeo + Juliet, each anchored by a distinct costume.
The singer‑songwriter returned to the long‑running sketch show for its Halloween episode, hosted by Inde Navarrette, star of Obsession.
She opened the set with “Hit The Wall,” the lead single and opening track from her third album, Daughter From Hell, released in July.
For the performance, she portrayed Claire Danes’ Juliet, donning the angel costume featured in the film’s iconic fancy‑dress party scene.
She also began the song behind an aquarium, recreating the moment when Juliet and Romeo—played by Leonardo DiCaprio—first see each other through a fish tank.

Later in the episode, Abrams performed “Here You Come, There You Go,” a new track released on October 29 that will appear on the upcoming deluxe edition of Daughter From Hell.
For this song, she embodied DiCaprio’s Romeo, recreating his Hawaiian shirt and metallic knight sleeves from the film.

This marked Abrams’ second cameo as an SNL musical guest, following her December 2024 debut where she performed “That’s So True” and “I Love You, I’m Sorry” from her second album, The Secret Of Us.
Her SNL performance came just days after she announced an expanded edition of Daughter From Hell, set for release on November 20 via Interscope, which will include five new tracks: “Here You Come, There You Go,” “Lost In It,” “Crazy Girl,” “Love Letter,” and “Out Of Nowhere.”
The original Daughter From Hell debuted on July 17, and Abrams again collaborated heavily with longtime partner Aaron Dessner of The National.
She will launch her 2026‑2027 “The Look At My Life Tour” the following month, starting at Denver’s Ball Arena on December 2.
The tour’s U.S. run will expand to the UK and Ireland in spring 2026, featuring two nights in Dublin, three in Manchester, two in Glasgow, and four at London’s O2 Arena. Supporting acts include Rachel Chinouriri, Holly Humberstone, Del Water Gap, Jensen McRae, The Japanese House, and others.
Upcoming SNL guests include The Strokes on November 7, hosted by Druski, followed by Phoebe Bridgers on November 14, hosted by John Mulaney.
