Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have officially tied the knot, as confirmed by Rolling Stone. The singer‑songwriter and Kansas City Chiefs player exchanged vows on July 3, 2026, at Madison Square Garden.
The wedding skipped traditional bridesmaids and groomsmen; instead, Taylor’s brother Austin acted as her “Man of Honor,” while Travis’s brother Jason served as Best Man. Comedian Adam Sandler officiated the ceremony.
Both Taylor, 36, and Travis, also 36, donned custom wedding ensembles created by Jonathan Anderson for Christian Dior Haute Couture.
The celebration featured a star‑studded musical lineup, including Swift’s frequent collaborators Jack Antonoff and Aaron Dessner, plus friends such as Ed Sheeran, Selena Gomez, the Haim sisters, Sombr, Brad Paisley, Miranda Lambert, Kelsea Ballerini, Rascal Flatts’ Joe Don Rooney, and Maren Morris.
Among Taylor’s inner circle were Abigail Andersen, Ashley Avignone, Gigi Hadid, Lena Dunham, and Zoë Kravitz. Notably, Karlie Kloss arrived with her husband Joshua Kushner, marking a surprise appearance amid earlier rumors of a rift.
Taylor also invited longtime friends from film and television, including Marisa Hargitay of Law & Order: SVU, Dakota Johnson, Julianne Moore, Ethan Hawke, Hugh Grant, Jason Sudeikis, Charlie Day, and Jessica Chastain. Golden Globes host Nikki Glaser, a devoted Swift supporter, and Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon were also on the guest list.
On Travis’s side, fellow Kansas City Chiefs players and head coach Andy Reid attended, along with other NFL stars such as Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford. Travis also invited sportscasters Erin Andrews and Greg Olsen—both former NFL players. Soccer star Abby Wambach came with her wife Glennon Doyle, and NFL commissioner Roger Goodell rounded out the athletic contingent.
In the weeks leading up to the wedding, rumors circulated about the venue and guest list. The New York Times reported that on July 2 the pair planned an intimate gathering of roughly 100 people, followed by a larger celebration of about 1,000 guests on July 3, according to an entertainment industry executive and another source.
Amtrak police stationed at Penn Square, beneath Madison Square Garden, told the outlet they had been warned to anticipate a Taylor Swift wedding over the July 4 weekend. NYPD officers similarly informed Variety that they were briefed on a possible surge of fans, paparazzi, and onlookers near the venue on July 3. The Times added that the city had approved a street‑closure permit for the area surrounding the arena from July 2 through midday July 4, impacting Fourth‑of‑July traffic.
The couple, who first met in 2023, revealed their engagement last August on social media, with Taylor joking, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”
Taylor said she first noticed Travis after he affectionately mentioned her on his New Heights podcast. “I thought it was metal as hell,” she told Time in a 2023 interview. “We began spending time together shortly afterward, giving us a private stretch to really get to know each other—something I’m grateful for.”
In 2024, Travis joined Taylor on stage at Wembley Stadium during the Tortured Poets Department segment of her Eras Tour. Conversely, Taylor has been a regular presence at several of his Chiefs games, including the 2024 and 2025 Super Bowls—Kansas City won the 2024 championship.
Taylor likened their romance to a scene from an 1980s John Hughes film, saying it felt like he stood outside her window with a boombox proclaiming, “I want to date you.” She shared this on her New Heights podcast while unveiling her twelfth album, The Life of a Showgirl, adding that the scenario mirrors the yearning she’s expressed in her songs since her teenage years.
Travis described the connection as organic, telling GQ, “We fell in love simply from being in the same room together. We’re two fun‑loving individuals who share the same values and respect for others. It just kind of… took off.”
