NFL Coach Andy Reid Shares Adam Sandler’s Heartfelt Marriage Advice for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s Wedding

NFL coach Andy Reid has shared the touching words of advice Adam Sandler offered Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce during their wedding ceremony.

The couple, who announced their engagement in August and married in a star-studded ceremony at New York’s Madison Square Garden on Friday, July 3, chose an intimate gathering with close family and friends. Swift’s brother, Austin Swift, served as her “Man of Honour,” while Jason Kelce, Travis’s brother, acted as Best Man.

Sandler officiated the wedding, which featured performances by Paul McCartney and Stevie Nicks. Attendees included Ed Sheeran, Selena Gomez, Jack Antonoff, Lena Dunham, Gigi Hadid, Bradley Cooper, Zoë Kravitz, Aaron Dessner, the Haim sisters, Ellie Goulding, Camila Cabello, Machine Gun Kelly, the Chainsmokers, Lucy Dacus, Benson Boone, and Graham Norton, who previously appeared in Swift’s “Opalite” music video.

While many wedding details remain private, Reid revealed Sandler’s advice to the couple during the ceremony: “Kiss every chance you have, every day… Whether you’re going to bed or going to work or, you know, wherever, go ahead and kiss her.”

Reid praised Sandler’s performance, calling his words “touching” and “in its simplest form.” He also reflected on Swift and Kelce’s relationship, noting their evolution since beginning dating in summer 2023. “There’s a love there, a sincere love,” Reid said. “They’re different people from different worlds, but they’ve come together to join hands, and they’re really special together.”

Additional guests included Marisa Suárez from Law & Order: SVU, Dakota Johnson, Julianne Moore, Ethan Hawke, Hugh Grant, Jason Sudeikis, Charlie Day, and Jessica Chastain. Prior to the wedding, the couple donated $26 million (£19.5 million) to 20 U.S. charities.

Sandler, married to Jackie since 2003 and father to two daughters, expressed his heartfelt support for the couple’s union.
