Shania Twain Delivers High‑Energy Performance of ‘Dirty Rosie’ on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon

Shania Twain appeared on The Tonight Show to perform her new single “Dirty Rosie” and chat with host Jimmy Fallon. Joined by her live band, Twain delivered a vigorous rendition of the track from her forthcoming album, Little Miss Twain.

The song draws inspiration from Twain’s early love of trucks. “Dirty trucks were the only kind we had,” she explained to Hits Radio Breakfast. “They were always old and rickety, and we couldn’t afford new ones. I remember my dad’s red truck—it faded, of course, to a rosy hue.”

During the interview, Twain discussed her upcoming album and reflected on her decision to miss Taylor Swift’s wedding to perform with Harry Styles at Wembley Stadium, where she joined him for a series of record‑breaking shows.

“It was a special invitation,” she said. “Being in his home city for 90,000‑person nights was exciting and unforgettable.”

Twain recounted an earlier encounter with Styles “backstage at a very small show.” “We chatted, exchanged numbers, and he later called to ask if I’d wish his mother a happy birthday—his mom introduced me to my own music when I was young.”

She expressed honor at being invited to Swift’s wedding, noting she plans to give her a congratulations hug next time they meet. “She’s wonderful, and I admire her storytelling.”

Fallon also invited Twain to play “Box of Lies,” a guessing game where the two attempted to guess the contents of mystery boxes.

Little Miss Twain marks Twain’s seventh studio album. Produced by Zach Dawes, the record features guest appearances by Tanya Tucker, the War and Treaty, Ronnie Wood, and Josh Homme.
