AEW has completed the first half of 2026, and a recent analysis reveals how attendance figures compare with the same period in 2025.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, AEW averaged 3,716 fans per show during this span, a modest 2.3% increase from the 3,634 average recorded in the first half of 2025.
The report also explains the mixed results. AEW has been staging its television tapings in smaller venues, which has led to more sold‑out events but also reduces the overall crowd size per episode. Consequently, attendance for AEW Dynamite fell 4.7%, while Collision dropped 12.6%. Part of the decline for Collision occurred when the show was held in the same city as Dynamite that same week, splitting the local audience and lowering turnout for both programs.
In contrast, AEW’s pay‑per‑view events saw a significant boost. Average attendance rose from 9,264 fans in the first half of 2025 to 11,267 fans this year, a jump of 21.8%. Larger markets such as New York and Los Angeles contributed to this increase.
Looking ahead, this weekend’s AEW Redemption pay‑per‑view may slightly lower the half‑year average, but All In: London is projected to draw roughly 40,000 fans—nearly double the 17,000 who attended last year’s London event.
