During AEW’s panel at San Diego Comic-Con on Friday, a physical altercation broke out between Kyle Fletcher and Bandido, prompting security to intervene.
Fletcher initially confronted Brody King at the panel, and when Bandido entered the dispute, the two exchanged punches before security intervened and separated them.
The incident occurs just days before Fletcher is set to defend his AEW International Championship against Bandido at AEW Redemption 2026 this Sunday in Montreal.
The feud intensified during this week’s AEW Dynamite, where Bandido and Brody King captured a tag team victory over Fletcher and Kazuchika Okada; Bandido pinned the champion to build momentum for their upcoming title match.
AEW had a strong showing at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, showcasing new action figures and hosting a panel with President Tony Khan and several roster members. The sudden brawl between Fletcher and Bandido added another headline‑making moment as excitement mounts for their championship confrontation.
