The suspect accused of shooting San Francisco 49ers defensive end Keion White earlier this year in connection with a nightclub altercation involving rapper Lil Baby has been arrested in Los Angeles, law enforcement officials confirmed.
Gregory Walker, 35, was taken into custody around 5:30 a.m. in Hollywood by members of the Los Angeles Police Department, according to authorities. He has been charged with felony assault using a deadly weapon, specifically a semi-automatic rifle.
According to officials, Walker was located by members of the LAPD’s Gang and Narcotics Division after being alerted to his whereabouts in the city.
Jail records indicate Walker stands at 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 195 pounds. He is currently being held without bail, pending further legal proceedings.
The shooting occurred on February 8 in San Francisco, shortly after Super Bowl 2026, police say. The incident stemmed from a dispute at a party hosted by White at Dahlia’s Lounge in the Mission District. Reports suggest tensions escalated when Lil Baby, known for his hit “Drip Too Hard,” was denied entry to the event, leading to a confrontation.
Witnesses reported that during the argument, someone went upstairs to seek assistance from a manager. While they were away, two gunshots were fired. Upon returning, the witness reportedly found White wounded, having been shot in the leg.
When police arrived at the scene, they reportedly encountered topless dancers collecting money at the venue.
At the time of the incident, the 49ers released a brief statement identifying White as “a victim of a shooting” who had sustained a bullet wound to his ankle.
White, who was selected in the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft and later acquired by the 49ers via a trade with the New England Patriots in 2025, underwent surgery to treat his injuries but ultimately made a full recovery.
This season, he has participated in all four games for San Francisco, recording two sacks and six combined tackles.
