“Even if all of 300 million barrels of European reserves are released, it will only cover around 10 to 11 days of the world’s diesel demand”, energy expert Osama Rizvi tells Euronews and Europe Today, regarding President Trump’s urging European nations to release part of their diesel stocks.
According to the expert’s analysis for consumers, diesel prices are likely to stay elevated over the coming months, increasing pressure on household budgets.
