The singer’s upcoming album petal is set for release this Friday; to date she has only unveiled the lead single “hate that i made you love me.” Currently on her first tour in six‑and‑a‑half years — primarily supporting 2024’s eternal sunshine — Grande performed the unreleased title track during last night’s (July 28) show in Montreal.

At Centre Bell, Grande — who is pursuing legal action against an unidentified group of hackers responsible for leaking her unreleased music, photos, and videos — opened the encore with a full rendition of “petal,” followed by eternal sunshine selections “we can’t be friends (wait for your love)” and “supernatural.” She also delivered an a‑capella excerpt of “worst behavior” from Positions, marking its first live appearance. Footage of the performance is available below.
