Arsenal have been advised to pursue an ambitious January transfer for Manchester City striker Erling Haaland.
Haaland stands as the standout player for Manchester City, though his future remains uncertain due to the ongoing legal challenges facing the club.
On talkSPORT, pundit Adrian Durham described Haaland as “phenomenal” and urged Arsenal to act quickly while uncertainty looms over Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium.
“I was thinking to myself, just imagine Man City get relegated to the North West Counties Premier Division,” Durham said.
“And all those players want to leave. Would any of those players get into the PSG side? I couldn’t really think of too many.
“Then, I thought Erling Haaland would get into any side in the world, his goal rate is phenomenal – and then an idea struck me.
“Arsenal in January should go for Erling Haaland.”
Is Erling Haaland to Arsenal actually realistic?

Arsenal would benefit from adding a world‑class striker such as Haaland, who has netted 172 goals in 207 appearances for Manchester City, including ten in his first nine matches this season.
Should Manchester City face sanctions that result in relegation or exclusion from the Premier League, Haaland would almost certainly be among the first players to leave.
Nevertheless, securing his signature would not be easy for Arsenal, as they would likely need to exceed their current wage limits.
Haaland’s reported weekly wage of around £400,000, per Sky Sports, places him well above Arsenal’s top earner, Bukayo Saka, who receives approximately £300,000 per week according to BBC Sport.
While Arsenal may view a move for Haaland as worthwhile, Manchester City would likely try to sell him overseas if they retain any influence over the transfer.
Should he depart the Etihad, Haaland would attract interest from clubs such as Real Madrid, Barcelona and Paris Saint‑Germain, all of whom could potentially outbid Arsenal.
