Emergency services and police are currently responding to an incident at the main train station in Augsburg, southern Germany, where an explosion in a pedestrian passageway has injured at least two people.

According to local media reports, the detonation of an object caused minor injuries and shattered nearby windows. Investigators have not yet determined the exact nature of the explosive device.
Police have closed the main station building and one of the railway tracks, while a limited service continues to operate on the adjacent line. Public transport connections in the surrounding area have also been disrupted as a safety precaution.
