Brennan Wedl has signed with Anti- to release her debut self-titled album on August 21. The project features co-production by Waxahatchee’s Katie Crutchfield and renowned indie producer Brad Cook. Wedl is supported on the record by an impressive lineup of musicians, including Lindsey Jordan of Snail Mail, Colin Croom, and Matt McCaughan. The upcoming Brennan Wedl marks the Nashville-based artist’s official solo debut. This release follows her work with Dazey and the Scouts, including the 2017 LP Maggot, as well as her 2019 mini-album Holy Water Branch and the 2021 EP Sleeping With Jeans On. Wedl is set to join Snail Mail and Soccer Mommy for the first half of their co-headlining fall tour, followed by a series of solo headline performances in New York, Los Angeles, Boston, and Philadelphia this October.
