WWE Superstar Bronson Reed addressed his absence from weekly programming following last night’s episode of SmackDown.
The main event of last night’s SmackDown saw Jey Uso advance to the semifinals of the ongoing King of the Ring tournament, eliminating LA Knight, Royce Keane, and Finn Bálor.
Shortly after Jey’s victory, Reed took to his Instagram Stories to send a direct message to the WWE Universe, stating:
“Yeah… Y’all really need me back.”

Jey Uso’s win came at a cost, as Reed suffered a distal bicep tear during his most recent televised match. The injury occurred when Reed attempted to break up a pinfall during a February 23, 2026, Elimination Chamber Triple Threat Qualifier on Monday Night RAW, where Reed, Jey, and the OG El Grande Americano competed.
Reed, who was the original expected winner of that match, underwent surgery and has been working through a comeback phase since the incident. The match result ultimately benefited Jey, who later earned a spot in the Chamber match that was subsequently altered when Logan Paul replaced him after Jey was taken out by The Vision during the following SmackDown.
