A woman who alleges Russell Brand sexually assaulted her told a jury that the encounter was “frenzied” and “violent.”
Brand, 51, is facing seven charges, including three counts of rape, three of sexual assault and one of indecent assault. He denies the allegations.
The case against him involves six female complainants and allegations spanning 1999 to 2009.
On Tuesday, the fourth complainant testified that Brand sexually assaulted her at the Choice FM studios in central London in the mid-2000s.
She said she left a small room in the building and found Brand waiting outside.
“He said, ‘Aye aye,’” she told the jury. “He grabbed me by the face, started kissing me and, while he was kissing me, began pushing his body against me.”
The woman said: “He was kissing me and it was very frenzied. There was no time for me even to understand what was happening. His hands were running over my body, and I had my back against the wall.”
Speaking from behind a blue screen, she described the kiss as “sloppy” and “very, very rough” when questioned by the prosecution barrister.
“His hands were all over me at the same time,” she said. “He touched my bum and my breasts, and his body was pressed up against me.”
The woman said she pushed Brand away and swore at him. She also alleged that several people accompanying him did not intervene or say anything about what happened.
Now in her 50s, she said she had never met Brand before the incident and believed he was at the building because he was appearing on Channel 4’s Big Brother’s Big Mouth.
She told the jury: “His whole body was pressed against me. The kisses were hard and sloppy and were going down my neck. His hands were moving so much. The reason I used the word ‘frenzied’ was because it was violent. He just wasn’t stopping.”
She said she felt “dirty” after the encounter and had “never told anybody,” adding that she was “shocked and stunned” and “shaken.”
