Account-level data indicates a strong bullish skew across major platforms. On Binance, long positions outnumber shorts by a ratio exceeding three to one, while OKX reports an even higher five-to-one advantage for bullish bets. These metrics suggest heightened trader participation on the long side despite sustained price declines.

It is important to note that this ratio does not directly equate to three or five times the capital volume, as each futures contract requires both a buyer and a seller. Nonetheless, the data reflects a prevailing market sentiment favoring bullish exposure while prices continue to slide.

However, these leveraged long positions serve as potential pressure points. If DOGE declines further, margin calls may trigger automatic liquidations, forcing exchanges to sell positions into the market. A cluster of such closures could amplify downward pressure on an already declining asset.

During Asian morning trade Thursday, DOGE was valued at approximately seven cents, declining 3%—the sole major loser while most other assets edged higher.
