Enter Shikari Reveal October Warm-Up Shows Ahead of UK Arena Tour

Enter Shikari have confirmed two intimate warm-up performances in October as they prepare for their biggest UK and European arena tour to date.

The St Albans-based act will kick off the November arena run with two rehearsal shows, marking their first live appearances since May’s Tokyo gig. The pair had originally planned to extend the tour to North America in June, but those dates—and additional later shows—were cancelled due to visa complications.

The Oxford warm-up lands at O2 Academy Oxford on October 21, followed by O2 Academy Leicester on October 22.

The arena tour launches in Nottingham on November 13, with Holding Absence and The Callous Daoboys supporting all dates. Each arena ticket includes a £1 donation to the LIVE Trust, which works to protect and expand grassroots music across the UK.

The shows coincide with the surprise April release of ‘Lose Your Self’.

In an interview with NME, frontman Rou Reynolds described the album as a critique of hyper-individualism, arguing that modern alienation stems from a loss of collective power. “It’s a criticism of the idea that we’re divided from each other and disconnected from the natural world,” he said. “That’s the core tenet of capitalism, and it’s becoming more dangerous.”

Reynolds also explained the decision to release the album without prior singles or promotion: “There’s no lead-up. No drip-feeding. Just, ‘Here it is—absorb it.’ That way people listen to the full record as one entity.” He added that reaching Number One with the previous album freed the band from cynical considerations: “We can just put this out as we want it to be out.”
