Despite Norway’s elimination from the World Cup, Erling Haaland had little reason to dwell on the defeat. The Norwegian striker was seen celebrating his team’s impressive tournament run in Miami on Saturday night, attending a performance by Flo Rida at the downtown superclub E11EVEN.
Norway succumbed to a 2-1 extra-time defeat against England in the 2026 FIFA World Cup quarterfinal. The match was contentious; a Norwegian goal was disallowed after Haaland was penalized for pushing England midfielder Elliot Anderson during a corner kick routine, ultimately allowing the Three Lions to advance.
The captain appeared unfazed by the loss. Shortly after 1:30 a.m., he arrived at E11EVEN Miami aboard a bus with several teammates, including Alexander Sørloth, Antonio Nusa, Oscar Bobb, Andreas Schjelderup, and Julian Ryerson. From a second-floor VIP booth overlooking the crowd, the group danced and socialized before focusing on Flo Rida’s set, which began around 3:30 a.m.
Haaland sang along to Flo Rida’s hit “Low” as his teammates encouraged him. The rapper acknowledged the Norwegian squad mid-performance, prompting the crowd to applaud and Haaland to nod in appreciation from his booth. Apart from his vocal turn, the Manchester City forward maintained a low profile, reportedly declining complimentary bottles of Don Julio 1942 offered by tequila brand representatives celebrating a birthday at the venue.
Already a prominent figure in the Premier League with Manchester City, the 25-year-old forward emerged as a global breakout star during Norway’s World Cup campaign, guiding the nation to its finest international result to date.
Merchandise bearing Haaland’s name has seen a surge in demand following the tournament, with Norway’s official jersey sold out on Nike’s platform; only youth sizes remain listed on Soccer.com.
Norway entered the competition ranked 31st by FIFA and is expected to climb the rankings after its performance. England progresses to meet Argentina on Wednesday.
