Some films represent a win for the audience, but Coyote vs. Acme is a victory for everyone involved—from the dedicated creative team and cast to the iconic coyote himself. After one of the most tumultuous production journeys in recent cinematic history, the highly anticipated Looney Tunes adventure is finally securing the theatrical release it deserves via Ketchup Entertainment.
In a rare Hollywood instance where the off-screen drama nearly eclipsed the project itself, the “good guys” have ultimately prevailed. While Wile E. Coyote’s luck with mail-order explosives and elusive birds remains famously poor, his luck in the studio has finally turned. As part of our Summer Preview Event, we are thrilled to share an exclusive first look at the upcoming chaos. The provided image captures the essence of the film’s humor and is almost certainly destined to become a viral meme.
The plot of Coyote vs. Acme follows a legal battle of epic proportions. According to the official synopsis:
“After all of the products made by ACME Corporation backfire on Wile E. Coyote, in his pursuit of the Road Runner, he hires an equally-unlucky human attorney to sue the company. When Wile E.’s lawyer finds out that his former law firm’s intimidating boss is ACME’s CEO, he teams up with Wile E. to win the court case against him.”
