A former Giants fan favorite is set to receive an engagement ring this year.

He might even walk away with two, if fortune smiles.

Patriots quarterback Tommy DeVito announced his engagement to girlfriend Michayla Anja on Wednesday, confirming the news via an Instagram post Thursday night.

At 27, DeVito donned a white shirt, beige trousers and Nike sneakers as he knelt, while Anja appeared in a white dress for the pictures.

He proposed to his now‑fiancée with the Atlantic Ocean as a backdrop at the Pelican Grand Beach Resort in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and later celebrated at a steakhouse, according to People.

Anja posted a picture of herself watching a Patriots game from a Gillette Stadium suite in October, followed by a snapshot with DeVito from a March vacation.

DeVito first hinted at his relationship with Anja in an April 1 social‑media post.

A Don Bosco Prep alumnus and Livingston, New Jersey native, DeVito won over Giants fans in 2023 after stepping into the starting quarterback role following injuries to Daniel Jones and Tyrod Taylor.

He performed solidly, posting a 3‑3 record as a starter with 1,101 passing yards, eight touchdowns and three interceptions.

Thanks to his Italian roots, DeVito acquired the nickname “Tommy Cutlets” after his hand‑pinching celebration went viral.

Local delis cashed in on “Cutlet Mania,” and his family even tailgated at MetLife Stadium with pasta and, of course, chicken cutlets.

He started only two games in 2024 before the Giants parted ways with him last summer.

He subsequently joined the AFC‑champion Patriots, though he did not see game action during their Super Bowl run.

Nevertheless, he secured a two‑year, $7.4 million contract extension this offseason.

DeVito remarked ahead of the Super Bowl that while he cherished his time with the Giants, that chapter is now behind him.

“That was cool and fun, but that’s a Jersey, New York thing, if you will,” DeVito said at Super Bowl 2026 Opening Night. “That’s going to be tied to that. Mainly, because I’m from there. That was one of the most special teams in my life — and I love it every time I go back — but this is a different version of myself, and I’m happy with that.”
