Two Palestinians were killed and seven others injured on Sunday during Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip, as Tel Aviv continues to breach a ceasefire that has been in effect since October 2025, according to medical sources cited by Anadolu.
The sources told Anadolu that 28-year-old Uday Adli al‑Assar was killed in an Israeli drone strike on the Al‑Mawasi area west of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.
The body of another Palestinian and an unspecified number of wounded individuals were taken to Al‑Shifa Hospital after an Israeli drone struck a civilian vehicle in the industrial zone south of Gaza City, the sources reported.
Two Palestinians were injured, one critically, when an Israeli drone shelled a crowd near the White Mosque in the Al‑Shati refugee camp west of Gaza City, they added.
In a separate incident, five Palestinians were hurt when an Israeli drone hit an area near tents sheltering displaced families around the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood market in northern Gaza City, the sources said.
Eyewitnesses told Anadolu that Israeli forces unleashed heavy gunfire on western and eastern parts of Gaza City, west of Beit Lahia in the north, and on areas east of Khan Younis and northwest of Rafah in the south.
These strikes occur while Israel persists in violating the truce that has been in place since 10 October 2025.
The ceasefire was intended to end Israel’s ongoing war, which has claimed more than 74,000 Palestinian lives and left over 175,000 injured in Gaza since October 2023.
