TURIN, Italy — Edgewing, the consortium tasked with developing a next-generation fighter aircraft for Japan, the United Kingdom and Italy, intends to launch a dedicated design and development center in Japan by the start of next year. Chief Executive Marco Zoff stated the facility is expected to reach a headcount of roughly 1,000 employees.
