Geordie Greep Pulls From U.S. Tour Over Sexual Misconduct Allegations

Multiple shows on Geordie Greep’s upcoming U.S. tour have been cancelled in response to allegations of sexual misconduct levelled at the artist, whom Greep denies. By October 10, performances scheduled in Boise, Salt Lake City, Boulder, Denver, and Omaha have either been marked as postponed on each venue’s site or have vanished entirely. A single U.S. date – Des Moines – remains on the calendar, and a short European leg in November continues. Greep has issued no formal statement concerning the cancellations, though his representatives have fielded inquiries from Pitchfork.

The backlash came after attendees alleged at a Vancouver show on October 8 that Greep had engaged in inappropriate behaviour. Flyers containing these claims circulated among the audience. Greep addressed the criticisms onstage, describing the incident as a late‑evening encounter at a private party that resulted in a mistaken touch, insisting it was unintentional and expressing deep regret for the situation.

He indicated he would headline the remaining concert solo rather than repeat the full band, to spare his group pressure, and announced that ticket sales would benefit a charity supporting victims of sexual violence.
