Gul Ahmed Textile Mills (GATM) has finalized the acquisition of Plot A-44 at SITE Nooriabad and authorized the purchase of five additional plots at the location. According to a filing cited by Mettis Global, the board approved the further land acquisition during its meeting on October 24, 2026, contingent upon the completion of due diligence and necessary legal, regulatory, and corporate formalities. The five plots span 12, 18, 4, 8, and 1.75 acres respectively.
The board also sanctioned three energy infrastructure projects: a 7.5 MW wind turbine, a solar facility with a capacity of up to 6 MW, and a 20 MWh battery storage system. Orient Energy Systems will supply the wind turbine and storage system, while JinkoSolar will provide the solar panels, with local execution handled by A2Z Energy Systems. The notice empowers the Chief Executive, or two designated officers acting jointly, to execute the transactions and complete all associated formalities.
