Hechicero defeated AEW TNT Champion Darby Allin on Friday night at CMLL’s Día de Muertos: Rey del Inframundo event in Arena Mexico.
The CMLL World Heavyweight Champion secured the pinfall with a guillotine leg drop. The match marked Allin’s official CMLL debut, though he had previously competed at Arena Mexico in August during AEW Grand Slam Mexico.
Allin made his ring entrance carrying a skateboard inscribed with “The Bastard,” a tribute to PAC.
The victory avenges Hechicero’s October 14 loss to Allin on AEW Collision, a bout that served as both a TNT Championship match and a Clockwork Carnage qualifier.
The two competitors had previously been on opposing sides of a trios match at Grand Slam Mexico, where Allin teamed with Místico and Chris Jericho to defeat Hechicero, Kazuchika Okada, and Kevin Knight.
