On Sunday morning, a flight bound for Okinawa returned to Hong Kong airport after authorities suspected a fault with the landing gear failing to fully retract following takeoff.
Hong Kong Airlines announced that the crew of flight HX676, which departed at 8:57 am, opted to return to the base in adherence to standard safety procedures.
The airline confirmed that the aircraft encountered a suspected issue with incomplete landing gear retraction shortly after departure.
